About Us
MassJam is a multi-council camporee for Scouts and Venturers from Massachusetts and surrounding states.
From October 7-9, 2023, thousands of Scouts and Venturers from Massachusetts and surrounding states will descend on the Cape Cod Fairgrounds in East Falmouth, Massachusetts for three days of Scouting fun, exhibits, challenging activities, competitions, entertainment, and fellowship.
Seven councils from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, with support from the Cape Cod Fairgrounds, and various local & state agencies are participating in the planning of this event.
The first MassJam was held in 1985 at the Tewksbury State Hospital in Tewksbury, MA. MassJam moved to its current location at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds (home to the Barnstable County Fair) in East Falmouth, MA in 1993. Subsequent MassJams were held in 1999, 2003, 2008, 2013, and 2018.
